Flying high performance military aircraft can be demanding under the best of conditions. Flying these same aircraft in combat conditions or in bad weather can test a pilot's skill, knowledge and guts. Each aircraft has it's own unique peculiarities and a military pilot has to be able to handle any aircraft he/she is assigned.
